A noble hop with soft smooth flavours- mildly earthy, herbal and spicy
It has a seasoned herbal character and often a light earthiness in the final product. Saaz also comes equipped with a higher content of polyphenols which subsides the oxidation and aging process in beer, giving it a longer shelf life. Commonly used in pilsners and lagers.
