We’ve named our new low alcohol Porter Fresh Wort Kit after our favourite recently departed homebrew dog Holly.Designed as a Session Ale for those long cold winter nights.

Joe White Ale is a great malty base. Roast malt and crystal add some dark malty goodness.Dark Munich adds toasty notes and some body helpful in this style.

End of boil classic English Fuggles hops round off the flavour.

Approximate cube volume: 16.5L

Starting Gravity: 1.038 undiluted, 1.032 with 3 litres of water added

Bitterness: 22 IBU’s.

Grist make up: Joe White Ale 68%, Best’s Dark Munich 15%, Joe White Chocolate 7%, Joe Whte Roast Malt 5%, Joe White Crystal 5%.

Late hops: Fuggles 1.5g/L.

Recommended yeasts: SAF S04, Mangrove Jacks M15
