A tasty hoppy amber recipe made in colaboration between 2 Birds Brewing and Grain & Grape.Dry Hopping is not essential with this beer but if you’d like to experiment you could try 40g of Galaxy or Cascade in the fermenter 3 days before packaging.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Approximate cube volume: 16.5L.
Starting Gravity: 1.064 undiluted, 1.054 with 3 litres of water added
Bitterness: 40 IBU’s using US Warrior hops.
Grist make up: JW Ale 35%, JW Pilsner 35%, Weyermann Melanoidin 10%, JW Munich 10%, JW Wheat 6%, JW Caramalt 3.5% and JW Roast Malt 0.5%.
Flavour hopped with Galaxy and Cascade. No dry hopping suggestions.
Recommended yeasts: US05 or Lallemand BRY97.
