Literally meaning "Middle-Early" in reference to it's harvest time being earlyish in the season Hallertau Mittelfrüh is considered the original King of German hops. It possesses the classic noble aroma popular in all of the traditional German styles. It has a mild bittering potential (3-6% AA), but is clean, crisp, and perfect for pilsners.
