Made from high quality 304 grade stainless size 7 mesh and PTFE teflon. The bead on this has been designed to fit any standard 2 Inch (50mm) tri-clover fitting.

This mesh screen is compatible with all the other 2 Inch Tri-Clover equipment and fittings that we sell.

The screen has a mesh size of 7 which will block particles larger than 2.83mm or 2830 microns.

This slightly larger mesh size makes this screen ideal for use in a distillation basket.

This Stainless Mesh Screen has a PTFE (Teflon) seal integrated around the outside of it. The hard PTFE compound is highly chemical and heat resistant. This can be used as a standard seal or alternatively, it can be used as a filter screen preventing the flow of large particulates (>2.83mm) going through your tri-clover fittings.

This fitting is often used for distillation to retain packing media or used in pot distillation to retain botanicals in the vapour stream
