Lemonhoney pils AG Recipe Pack 50 litre. This is tthe grain bill only, to complete this following the recipe you will also need 2 x Lemondrop Hops and 2 x Lallemand Novalager yeast. An instruction sheet will be provided with this grain bill.
A pale international lager featuring Lemondrop hops, and a mix of pilsner malt and other specialty malts including Gambrinus Honey malt to give a unique flavour (Hence the Lemon honey).
Not massively bitter at 20 IBU, easy to make, easy to drink and very sessionable at 4.5%…even your superdry mates will get cozy with this one…
You could add a little bit of actual honey to this one if you wanted to, a nice orange blossom honey at ~ 4gm/litre would bring the abv up from ~4.5% to ~4.7%.
I used Lallemand Novalager with this one, fermented @ 20 °C & @ 20psi for 5 days and cold crashed for 2. Dry hop for the last day of ferment & the cold crash if you want a more up front hop aroma.
Of course you can play with the hop schedule as you wish, or use a different yeast. Lallemand Diamond, Mangrove Jack M84, S-189 or S-23 would be options depending on the desire characteristics and required ferment profile/temperature range.
